2023 is coming to a close and this year we’ve been able to get our hands on more tools than we can count we’re always on the lookout for the best of the best and in this video we’re going to show off 15 different tools that we believe to be the best we’re going to start with power tools let’s start with our highest rated hammer drill the fourth generation Milwaukee 2904 this tool UPS the performance across all three major categories that we tend to evaluate it picks up 200 INB of torque and now sits at 1,400 inlb the 2100 RPM top speed is an increase of 100 RPM and the hammer rate well that’s 1,000 BPM higher at 33,000 blows per minute that’s not all that’s new the fourth generation also includes Auto Stop Kickback control for the first time most importantly Milwaukee made these improvements while maintaining its compact 6.9 in head length you can find this hammer drill as a bare tool for just $199 and the kit is priced at $299 and that includes two 5 a hour batteries and a charger Milwaukee also earned the top spot in our 2023 best impact driver video with their M18 fuel 2953 running with a 3900 RPM top speed and providing 2,000 inbs of torque this Milwaukee provides one of the best combinations of performance size and weight of any impact driver we tested it’s also one of the quickest for control you still have four modes to work with three standard modes and a self-tapping screw mode Milwaukee also spent some some additional time working with the trigger it’s now capable of even smoother acceleration and that should help give you more control when starting both wood screws and self Taps and Sheet Metal you can get this impact driver for $149 as a bare tool or $299 for the two battery kit with charger and you can even grab a combo kit with our best hammer drill the 2904 for 399 bucks now let’s take a look at saws more specifically table saws our best table saw for 2023 is the DeWalt dwe 7 491 RS this model has been around in one form or another for about 10 years yet it’s still setting The Benchmark for performance there’s plenty of power coming from its 15 amp motor cut accuracy is excellent and it has a wider table than many of the other job site saws we tested which is also what allows it to continue using a 10-in blade all that plus a very reasonable $649 price tag makes this one of the most complete options available on the market shifting gears to our favorite Sidewinder circular sawt for 2023 well that Crown goes to Metabo hbt’s 36v multivolt circular saw when we analyze the final results Metabo hpt’s multivolt cir saw edged out the Milwaukee M18 fuel as the best cordless circular saw overall it earned perfect scores in our cutting performance and accuracy sections and high scores in most of the others it was also the strongest Sidewinder we tested and is the only option in the group that can use an AC adapter for unlimited runtime sweetening the deal Metabo HPT has a lifetime warranty on this tool the side Winder will cost you $179 for the bare tool for those of you who prefer a rear handle saw none impressed us more in 2023 than the flex fx21 41r after testing flex’s rear handle saw against the top competitors rear left with no doubt that it edged itself out front as the best cordless rear handle circular saw currently available its design is solid and its features are thoughtful what sets it apart is that it’s stronger and faster than any other rear handle saw we tested it also has the advantage of stacked lithium pouch style batteries you can buy this saw as a bare tool for $254 but look for deals for example as we’re making this video Lowe’s is running a special deal where you can get this rear handle kitted with a 10 a hour stacked lithium battery and charger for $299 the final saw on our list is the jigsaw whether you want a top handle or Barrel grip style we picked the DeWalt 20 volt DCS 334 is the best cordless jigsaw overall it’s cutting speed wasn’t as fast as some of the others but its vibration control was better and it kept the blade deflection down to nothing on tough Cuts with both versions the controls seem well placed and easy to reach without having to move your grip this was especially noticeable on the barrel grip where many of our testing teams hands couldn’t reach onoff switches on other models while there are a couple of trade-offs to consider DeWalt gave us the best overall cutting experience if you’re in the market for an angle grinder none impressed us more this year than the Hilty neuron 6-in grinder with their new sense Tech feature the the Hilty AG 6D 22’s performance is excellent with a brushless motor keeping the RPMs High even under heavy pressure and you can really bear down on this cordless grinder two innovations really set it apart from the crowd though 360° active torque control senses if the grinder makes a sudden move in any direction and automatically shuts it off then there’s sense Tech sensors in the handle can detect when your hand is on the tool even when you’re wearing gloves in the event that you let go of the handle the motor shuts down it’s the only grinder we’ve seen to effectively offer the convenience of slide switch activation with the safety of a paddle switch Allin one tool between the performance features and design the Hilty neuron AG 6022 is the most impressive angle grinder we’ve
