these are going to be my favorite tools of the year so far and we have so many different tools we’ve actually got about 20 and they’re absolutely fantastic now I want to let you know that not all of them are going to be released from this year some of them are going to be things that I’ve just acquired in the past 6 months and I just went back through my list of videos picked out my favorite tools that really stood out and we got about 20 of them here so we’re going to fly through them I’ll leave links in the description to the tool and to the video that covers it in more depth because I foremost this is probably the most outstanding thing on the list which is why it’s number one you guys Klein has been killing it they have a bunch of new options out and this is their 1/ Quin pass through set now they do also have a 3/8 pass through set that’s pretty sweet but General rundown of it it does come in this sweet uh Klein mod boox case so if we open it up there’s a bunch of features by the way on this that are just fantastic the whole gist the reason why it’s number one is because it’s pass through right it’s four pass pass through sockets but it comes with this little extension and it comes with this/ Quin adapter and when you put them together you can put on a 7/16 or a 9/16 socket and that will allow you to have a pass through socket that’s impact rated so when you’re doing all thread you can actually have what is a a 3-in pass through socket that’s impact rated and it covers all your other different sizes all of this in a very compact case it’s a mod box if you’re into the modbox system but this little pass through deal here with the quarter-inch adapter to fit into an impact is my favorite portion of this whole system and it’s why it’s number one now the rest of these aren’t going to be in order I kind of just paired them with what flowed from place to place so we’ll start off with a couple more Klein options and my other offerings that are from Klein currently are also in another tool that I wanted to mention which is the dp3 from vetto pro pack this is an excellent pouch you guys and it’s been fantastic so far I’m testing it out right now as my everyday carry pouch the thing that I love about it is that you can fit all of the tools that you need to and an impact and the storage on this is absolutely phenomenal it’s fantastic you guys can see it also fits a tape usually I carry one on there dayto day but it kind of ruins the view of all the other stuff on the video now with all that being said it is housing some of our next items too the first one is going to be this 7 in1 nut driver set from Klein this thing is absolutely amazing now to be able to carry seven which is really six sockets in one bit I don’t carry the bit in there now it starts off4 in N 5/16 3/8 7/16 1/ in and 9/16 this is my preferred choice of sizes they have one that has more sizes on it they have one that has less sizes on it as long as you have 9/16 and 7/16 for me you’re good cuz that’s what 3/8 hardware and Quin Hardware carry those are the the big ones obviously your qu in your 516 are really important 38 but the whole point of this tool itself is that the bit on the front pops off from the front like forward and the rest of these slide off let’s just say we’re going to use our 9/16 bit so we’ll put it on there this way and then our quarin bit slides in the back and now we are ready and we have it all stored and it’s just fitting on our impact or it’s fitting wherever we don’t have to hold our bits in some random place it’s 6 in one which is fantastic so that makes it pretty darn easy to carry all of the nut drivers that you could ever need there is a magnet on the front of this as well that’s attached to the actual shaft so they’re all going to be magnetized the only downside to this is that they’re not Hollow shafted like the first one I showed you but that’s not always necessary and you can’t always carry six and six in one is just crazy okay definitely a fantastic option from Klein another one of my favorite options from Klein that we have in the dp3 is their new pliers set okay I’m so thankful they finally came out with an insulated set of pliers that’s affordable American pliers that are insulated have been actually outrageous for a long time uh and I’ve actually used European insulated tools because they’re regulated over there it’s a lot more common and so they’re a lot less expensive you guys know kleene if you know kleene you know they make amazing pliers their linemen are great their diagonal cutters are great and this set comes with both of these two screwdrivers which are not Slimline they are regular but they do fit screws well uh they are marked on the back side as well those I’m going to be super honest I could care less about the screwdrivers I’m just trying them out for now to see what they’re like so I can tell you whether or not I like them they’re okay but the pliers chef’s kiss they’re great and the last pair I’m very excited about are these insulated wire strippers the reason why I’m excited for these is because insulated wire strippers have been kind of hard to come by for a while now insulated wire stri rppers are great they’re fantastic we haven’t had a pair of insulated wire strippers available that’s like not completely outrageous ever even the European markets they don’t even have regular cuz they don’t use wire strippers like this like we do and I prefer this over all of their wire strippers every day of the week so that part of it is fantastic I’m glad that they finally somebody finally made an offer for these on the topic of wire strippers we have tested out and we’re getting ready to do a full testing video of all of these these wire strippers so sub if you haven’t already if you like more testing videos not just big tool list videos like this sub we got a bunch of them coming up I’m super excited about now one of the pliers that is on that list that are new from this year are these Ideal wire strippers these These are the 45 113s okay there’s a link in the description and a video to the actual full comparison that I compare these to the Knex pliers these things are sweet I love how long they are I really like how thin the nose is okay the only thing that I don’t like is that it only goes down to 10 solid which means that there’s no 10 stranded I wish that that was the case it’s not they do have a insulated and a non-insulated crimper the non-insulated crimper is up here and the uh insulated crimper is down here obviously two bolt cutters the the shears on this are fantastic they cut really well they don’t open incredibly wide but there’s a ton of Leverage the length from the back of the cutter of the back of the handle to the cutter itself it helps there’s a lot of Leverage there and it’s great okay this is a super cool option the handles are very ergonomic they look great and ideal makes some fantastic stuff next up on our wire stripper list are this this is a a little fancy pair of Channel loock wire strippers these things are sweet I didn’t know that I was going to love these as much as I did the handles are incredibly ergonomic they’re a lot smaller which is great for maneuverability they feel like the most highquality set of small strippers like this set here versus this set here like there’s quite a bit of a weight difference there’s quite a bit of a you know this is more of a fullsize plier like you would see with alignment like you would see with a diagonal cutter this is like what you would see as of a traditional wire stripper I put these Channel loock ones in that smaller category like with the clein but they’re like way they’re like high class small wire strippers and I like the feeling of the of the handle a lot the Locking me mechanism is great it does only go down to 10 solid so it doesn’t do 10 stranded which is kind of a bummer cuz I use that a lot doing Commercial Lighting because they typically upsize for the distance I also like how thin the nose is they are shears and they cut incredibly well this is how far they open so it’s not super wide you’re not going to cut MC cable with these obviously there are bolt cutters on this for 632 832 I don’t know why I love these so much but I do having them in my hands they they’re a great set of wire strippers that I actually really enjoy next up we’re going to be leading into racketeers a few of the things that I’ve gotten from racketeers this year I’ve been very very impressed with racketeers and this is their Crocs um they also have a Crocs junor that doesn’t come with the NM cutter on it which I’ll probably get soon but I actually do like to have the NM stripper on my wire strippers and this one’s cool cuz it actually does both this is a fantastic set of wire strippers it’s one of my favorites that aren’t like the like that are similar to The Klein that are a smaller less expensive pair the grip on these is fantastic they actually line up like most wire strippers don’t they they just grab well okay there’s a lot more length of the grabbing area they have a 14 and a 12 NM stripper RX stripper on the front here they also have this little attachment here which is their V cutter which is great for stripping RX I don’t do a ton of RX I’m not a residential guy but you guys know how it is you have friends or you do a side job or whatever it is and you sit at a panel and you strip Rox all day and especially when you’re a commercial guy you’re not it’s just easier to have the right tool not only that these are great strippers okay this is also a glow-in-the-dark here this little Band After the black the Cutters on these are fantastic check these out if you haven’t already there like I said there’s a full video in the link in the description that’ll tell you all about all of these tools there’s a lot more details in that this is a great set of strippers also from racketeers is their 25 ft phase tape measure so the phase part of it is just an easy part to help you remember phase coloring cuz it’s really easy to figure out what N9 is but it’s not always figure out easy to figure out what 62 is which it’s black in case you were wondering or brown if you’re in higher voltages so great tape measure the standout on it is fantastic it looks great I’ll put the performance up there with the Milwaukee or with the Klein all of the great tape measures the tough built the performance is fantastic the magnet’s strong um the one thing that it does that most tapes don’t do is it is a n it’s retractable in the way of like you have to press the button to retract it I found that it’s takes a little bit to get used to that but once you get used to it it’s pretty easy to use and it it I don’t know that it’s better but it’s definitely not worse it did did take like 2 days probably for me to get used to it to remember that it’s not going to retract on its own but eventually I actually came to really like that feature great tape measure here definitely if you’re looking for something different than what most people have this is a great option also from racketeers is their 9in torpedo level this this thing is jam-packed with functionality uh the magnets are great I love the black it looks sweet okay I don’t even typically like 9in levels I prefer 6in levels for conduit bending but this thing’s got a bunch of features the vials are very very easy to see and you can see them from all angles you can see the Zero from the bottom which is great but you can also see all of them except for the 90 obviously from the top just very very visible and it’s got some measurements on the back side here which don’t have time to cover all of those in this you can click on the link in the description but wow this is also a part of uh a series that we’re getting ready to do where we’re going to compare the levels the most popular levels at least for electricians cuz that’s what I do and that’s what matters speaking of levels our next level is in this mp1 x this is a pouch from veto pro pack which is the best toolbag SL pouch manufacturer that exists they’re incredibly Innovative this little deal back here here is one of my favorite ways to help you carry it obviously it’s got a belt clip on it that you clip onto your belt you clip onto whatever that wire clip works very very well it also has this flap which you can put in your front or back pocket it’s super fast it’s super easy I love the design of this pouch it’s incredibly well put together tape clip on the front there is no tape in there right now so you can see it it’s a great pouch but inside of this pouch is one of our next items and it’s this Greenly level now the thing about our test is that we only do test on the best equipment because why not I mean we’ll throw in some Harbor Freight stuff to show you how much further ahead this stuff is than that but as far as functionality goes it’s great this Greenly level is also in the top tier of levels okay it is a 6-in level which I definitely prefer it’s got 30 45 90 and0 in it it’s got a no dog which we love to see the magnets are super strong there’s a ton of visibility from from the bottom which I really like probably the most visibility so far out of any level that I’ve seen cuz you can actually see the 30 and the 45 from the bottom which is cool it’s just helpful and in situations when you need it it’d be really nice to have so many Cool Tools from greenle especially electrical tools I love green Le and speaking of greenle we have their water pump pliers which are my favorite water pump pliers I believe from America so far um they are a push button style and they have this specific head here which this head if you don’t know is fantastic for pipe it’s fantastic like it it allows the teeth to be angled and they’re more aggressive okay so it doesn’t actually work in the reverse it only works it’s directional so it only works going forwards which allows the teeth to get a much much much better grip the head’s also a lot thinner than what you would see on a traditional water pump plier or this style of plier which we would typic call channel loocks here in America if you’re like me I don’t know if I’m the only one but I love the push button I’ve become so accustomed to having push button pliers like this because it allows me to set it while I’m working and just leave it and then I’m done and and it’s just incredible I actually can’t stand the tongue and groove style of pliers anymore it just doesn’t fit my workflow and I’m it just doesn’t make sense it doesn’t make sense to do tongue and groove when you have an option like this unless you’re working in some sort of factory or facility that’s so nasty or like so like there’s so much dirt that it gets in the way of mechanisms like this which I don’t know how you could do that I’ve worked in foundaries and presses and everywhere else and I’ve had no issues with my push button pliers ever next up we have two of our newer tools which are from janard and they’re both going to be wire fishing tools the first one is this mag magnet rever I don’t know how to read but this little kit here is so cool and if we pour it out you guys there’s an example of this on the video in the description but basically it comes with a magnet on this piece a very flexible yet very stiff um which is great for fishing anything I’ve actually started carrying this in my bag regularly because of how useful it is so I don’t have to carry Just a Spare piece of RX which I don’t even use RX but it helps me to fish things sometimes so it has a magnet on the tip of this here basically and you can drop you drop this part of this 12 12T rope this metal chain you drop it down the wall and then you find it in the wall with this here magnet it also comes with a small Grabber there’s also a magnet on this piece this does extend which is cool you guys it’s just it is it’s fantastic it’s a great option gard’s got a bunch of very very unique tools that are very effective they do a lot of data tools and stuff like that I can’t say enough um after testing them out I was I was pretty impressed the second one is going to be this fish tape it’s a Fisher Price fish tape it looks like a child’s toy I promise you it it actually might be I don’t know I don’t know if you want to let your children play with it or not it’s 100t fiberglass fish tape which is fantastic cuz it’s non-conductive if you look in the center here you’ll find a bunch of heads that go on the tip of this fish tape the other thing that I really love about it is for one that you stand on it and pull it out because it actually rotates from the back the weight limit stuff I’ve you can drive a car over it I’ve seen it happen it’s great now there’s also threads on both sides and this actually comes out so you can actually use it as Rod not just as a fish tape where you have to reel it back in but you can actually send it all the way through if you would prefer which is great when you’re pulling wire so that way you don’t always have to move your wire spool when you are the one feeding the fish tape and we got a couple more left here but this one here is a hawk Bill knife from tough built I love Hawk Bill knives I I haven’t had a good one in a long time I lost my Greenly which I should just get another one but this is their Hawk Bill knife and it’s great it’s a great option I love toughbuilt Clips they work extremely well they’re just designed well and it’s just a great knife all right so if you guys can actually find this Hawk Bill knife here I recommend picking one up cuz it’s a great option next up we have this utility knife that’s a pry bar uh as well I’m going to be honest I don’t really use the pry bar part of it very often except for like for opening up boxes and stuff like that the thing I like about this is how heavy duty this utility knife is it’s one of the most heavy duty utility knives there is because of the pry bar it just got a lot of metal in the construction of this it flips open really well it’s got great action on it tough built makes some great utility knives like I said I love their Clips they work extremely well they don’t get snagged up they don’t they’re not too tight cool little option here from tough build and last option from tough built it’s their digital level gauge and this thing sweet I’ve never had a dig digital level gauge it works extremely well it gives you custom angles which I didn’t know I needed uh or that I could take advantage of this type of functionality until I got one and then I’ve just abused the mess out of it for all kinds of custom angles and custom conduit and I really hope no one ever has to match some of those because I got a little creative and uh sorry to whoever finds those random Ang Les and the big dog you guys this is uh this was quite a quite a large purchase here it’s a Fluke 376 this has been an absolute game changer for me I’ve never had a really nice meter and so I didn’t even know what that meant until I got this and then I was like wo I’ve always carried flukes and I always will carry fluke because I trust them I love it it’s my life that’s on the line here this is obviously typically for live work or for whatever is there but the functionality of this 376 has just been fantastic for me I didn’t know there was a difference between this and my 323 other than the functionality but the quality behind this is substantially higher and I understand why because the price Point’s higher and I’ll have to say it just it’s worth it if you guys especially For You veteran electricians you guys who have a lot of time in I didn’t know I wanted something like this until I was looking at it and then I pulled the trigger on it and now I’m very very happy that I did it so if you guys want something nice for yourselves this 376 is fantastic make sure you get the FC so you guys can actually monitor it outside of when you are just there and last but not least we have this Behemoth here this is the veto pro pack Tech XL wheeler and this thing is too big to even keep on camera it’s a massive bag so if
