what’s up everybody welcome back to the channel I know just like you I love all of the waltz tools okay all of their tools their hammer drills their impact drivers I love their saws their mitter saws their table saws their circular saws some of the greatest tools that help me get throughout the course of the day but if you guys aren’t paying attention to some of the newest DeWalt offerings and welcome back everybody I’m Jim and again we’re talking DeWalt tools today but we’re not talking about the hammer drills and the impact drivers that we use every day to get our job done we’re talking about some of the Lesser known options that you bring onto the job like your wearable job speakers or your wearable headphones and Tech now we’ve done F length videos you can check them out here and or here on both the job site speaker and the headphones now these I wear every single day why comfortable wear them around the neck put my headphones in listen to music or take a phone call put the speakers on let the whole crew listen to what I’m listening to on the job change the uh modes here so I can listen the podcast Andor music and The Equalizer will help out with the sound and again they’re just they’re they’re easy to put on every day yet they help me get my jobs done more efficiently throughout the course of the day what I got sent over most recently from the wall what do we have here we have again the job site speaker and I haven’t even opened these yet in the limited edition all black color now let’s open up these boxes see if any of the features have changed any design elements have changed I’m super excited to get these open they look very similar just change Hey Barry good morning how are you sir okay can uh can they be done tomorrow or do they have to be done today send it over we’ll start taking care of them all right welcome back everybody again this is why I wear these throughout the course of the day you never know this was not staged you never know when phone calls are going to pop up and I’m going to pop in the headphones and go back to work so coming in in the limited edition black jobsite Pro wearable speaker ip56 water resistant rated 10 hours of runtime on a full charge it comes with a microphone easy open clip for one-handed operation PRO Sound audio weighs less than 2 O and you can listen to music and take calls handsfree also includes a charger so let’s crack this box open and see the goodies so what we have in here is the wearable speaker charger some cool DeWalt stickers I love DeWalt stickers put these on my safe a nice little thank you for your purchase from the Walt Mobile Solutions your instruction manual nice little sleeve for your speaker and the limited edition black jobsite speaker again you have your volume controls and your power control right here so DeWalt has thoughtfully provided a USB C charger for the unit to an A on the charging side so the reason why they did this is because a lot of times when I’m using USBC ports it’s to move data around and I don’t want to jam up my USBC adapter charging side with charging a site speaker so I use my usba a port for charging the walers thought thought about this and this is why they have decided to put C on one end and a on the other you know what I noticed though this one doesn’t have a magnet it looks like one difference that I’m seeing in the two units is that the older non-limited edition has a magnetic back to it where the new limited edition black does not not have a magnet interesting um not really sure why but I’m going to open up this other box because they did provide us with two of them and see if there’s any difference in this particular unit as well same USBC to a charging cord stickers manuals case and same charging unit no magnetic back but other than that these are very similar in that they have this nice rubber over mold here for a little bit of drop protection one-handed Clips power buttons and features right here on the front ports on the bottom but again no magnetic on the back of the limited edition black not really sure why that is hopefully the Walt can let us know because to be honest with you I like the magnetic feature because while I may be wearing this on my hip often a lot of times I may turn around and put it on one of my boxes or just want to leave it in a central place the ability to magnetize it gives me more options so I like the ability to magnetize not really sure why hopefully we’ll be able to find out anybody who knows me knows I love the wall and I I’m I bleed black and yellow but this is one thing I think we could have done a little bit better team black and yellow team the gang I think we uh I think we need to get this magnet on the limited edition black jobsite speakers that being said my favorite piece of wearable technology from the wo everybody knows my headset constantly on me constantly using it the Walt surprised me with Again The Limited Edition all black wearable headset new design ergonomic and magnetic speakers provide open ear easy listening for awareness of surroundings flexible comfort fit inline playback and volume controls EQ modes for specialized sounds depending upon whether you’re listening to music podcasts movies or you want enhanced base easily switch to speaker mode with one click call by vibration feature alerts to incoming calls which I love because sometimes you you don’t hear everything if if you have a lot of loud tools going on around you saws drills people working screaming these will vibrate as well as ring so there’s no Phantom misses built-in mic for Clear calls in earphones and speaker mode I can tell you quality on these things are phenomenal I use it all day every day love them sound quality is great listen to my music everything about these things is awesome so let’s open this up and see if these are any different than the ones that I currently wear every day I’m hoping they didn’t change too much so in the Box your speaker set headphones which just from first glance looks very similar to my current unit so what I didn’t get in the original case that came in this limited edition all black case a nice pouch for them to go in but very similar to the original box they give you all these different options for ear covers for your Headphone set now I keep The Originals on just because they fit my ears the best but for everybody with different size ear canals you have one two three four different options five if you include what it comes with depending upon the size of your ear holes so they fit nice and comfortable what else do we have in the Box nice to Walt sticker make sure I hand them out a thank you for working with their Mobile Solutions now this comes with a USB ctoc charger so for everyone complaining that they want to have their headphones or their jobsite speakers or their portable work lights to have a ctoc charger buy a headset you get a free ctoc charger with it I don’t know what else to tell you buttons seem to all be in the same place power volume up and down the oneclick mode for speaker to earphone mode and then the EQ mode to change your sound style so looks like everything is similar about these two units with the exception of it being in the limited edition black I actually like the black color um I like all black so I think I may start wearing these over these but other than that it looks like they they function exactly the same with the addition of getting this nice little pouch which is pretty cool we’ve taken a look at the new job site speakers we’ve taken a look at the new headphones the Walt sent something else over and I’m going to be as surprised as you guys once I open it because I have no idea what’s in the box it could be another one of these it could be a big box of coal I don’t know but they sent me this cool looking big box and we’re going to open it and I’m going to be shocked with you guys to see what’s in it sleeve again whatever’s in here is in the limited Black Edition thanks again love all black how do I oh I’m going to flip this do hickey down the Walt Mobile Solutions specially specially packed Vincent carnelia Vincent carnelia is he is he is he team black and yellow I don’t listen we’re going to have to do something about this I’m not sure Vincent Carnell is always team black and yellow so you know we might have to uh send something over for uh Jim maybe uh but for Vincent carnelia for this time we’re introducing the limited Black Edition job site Pro Max neckband earphones with built-in speakers engineered to project audio upwards for an immersive music experience while keeping you aware of your surroundings on the job built-in speakers and for EQ modes all week battery life which the battery life on this headset is phenomenal I wear these all day every day and rarely have to charge them what they say all week I’ve gone a week and a half sometimes on slower weeks two weeks where I’ve actually had these running constantly and didn’t necessarily need to charge them and I would just pop them on the charger because I’d be afraid oh they’re going to die soon I don’t know but they never die on me and I rarely ever have to charge them so battery life awesome if you’re using traditional means on a job site where you have corded headphones and you got that cord running down your shirt you’re endangering yourself you’re running saws tools or you’re just walking around a job site that can get caught on almost anything that you walk by you want to keep a low profile minimal full footprint while you’re working you do not want your body to be exposed or any accessories on your bodies to be exposed to your tools or your job site this gives you the option to wear everything right around your neck in a nice comfortable unit to where you don’t have to worry about any of that and if you’re wearing airpods or a different type of feature where you have cordless headphones again while you’re working you got your hard hat on does it fit under your hard hat are they going to fall out while you’re climbing a ladder you shouldn’t have to worry about these types of ISS issues while you’re on the job your main focus should be getting your job done as quickly and efficiently as possible and what will help you do that is if you don’t have to worry about the speakers or your phone or your accessories because it’s right here nice and comfortably around your neck and because these units are bluetooth enabled and I could change all the functions from my phone on my phone from this unit I can keep my phone smart devices are not cheap iPhones Android phones whatever phone you have iPads or tablets they are not cheap so I could keep them safely in my toolbox or in my bag or in a pocket somewhere zippered and protected and make all my function changes from this unit now and not have to worry about dropping my device I mean the the look look at these units nice small compact love the colors and I’m a big fan of the black and yellow contrast but again I love all black the this unit this is my daily I really want to switch to the all black but it’s so goodlooking I almost kind of don’t want to mess it up so I’m not really sure which I’m going to I I have options now some days I may go out black and yellow some days I might go out all black we’ll see what happens this unit is built for the job site and you know what the reason why I love black and yellow I can attest to every one of these points I wear these every day if you want
